Early Antibiotic Use Can Lead to Increased Risk of Childhood Asthma

Infants given antibiotics in the first six months have a greatly increased risk of developing asthma by age six, according to a recent Yale University study. The relationship between early antibiotic use and later asthma was especially strong in children from families with no history of asthma.
